Motorway A1 Milano –Napoli exit Firenze Nord (north) if coming
from the North i.e. Milan or Firenze Sud (south) if coming from
the South i.e. Rome. Alternatively from Pisa airport take the A11
and exit Firenze Nord or Firenze Sud. From either exit follow the
signs for the “centro” or centre i.e. Santa Maria Novella
Train Station. Turn into the ring road and drive round the Fortress
i.e. Fortezza Da Basso, take a right into a large road called Viale
Spartaco Lavagnini and at the first traffic light turn right into
via Sana Caterina D’Alessandria… proceed along this
road which then becomes via Nazionale.

You can walk to the Hotel Machiavelli Palace in less than 10 minutes
however if you have bags and prefer to take the bus then take the
number 4 or 12.
